Had a Weekend away recently, with the NCT class we joined when expecting our first daughter. Rented a big house on a farm out beyond Thirsk. Brilliant time more kids than adults and a very fine Pub/Micro Brewery.

They also had a wood stove in the house and a wood-store in one of the outbuildings. 3 or 4 holiday homes share this wood-store and THIS AXE!!

I would say that is unsafe for use. Big Time ! That needs replacing, or at least the shaft ! Good job you had your hatchet. I would not of used that either.
