No reason why not - but I use a simple "Centurian" branded Mill file and a circular whetstone followed by wet and dry....the file cost £1 in a hardwear shop and would seem to be no less apt than the one you are looking at.

i use a flat chainsaw file (cost 7 euros) plus schythe stones two of them,fine and extra fine/hard,and sand paper on a homemade wood block. block is made out off a board cut in three pieces glued together in three layers and some gum.car inner tube to hold paper

I wouldn't buy a file myself that doesn't tell you how coarse it is. Looks like a single cut from what I can see.

Get something that gives you the tpi. I use a b@stard cut, folloed by a medium diamond or second cut followed by stones or abrasive paper. The coarsest files are only needed for working out a bad ding or profiling.

I prefer the GB axe stone to a file James, unless you've got a lot to take off then a file for me is a bit too harsh.
