Axe sharpening help

Hi guys

i have invested in a gransfors bruks small forest axe and I need to reshape not the edge
i have bourse the gransfors axe stone and have tried to sharpen the axe with not very satisfactory results I just can't get a decent edge. I am usually good with most things but I have a inability to sharpen tools.

if shone one is able to either give me a step by step run down on how to maintain
this wonderful axe or recomend me a course I can attend I would be most grateful
