Hi Guys,
I hope that someone can help, I am aware that the ADF have awarded the contracts for the replacement of these vehicles to merc and a modified G wagon. I have seen rumours on the web over the past few years of the Land Rovers being up for disposal. However i have not seen been able to find anything within the last year or so with updated information. I was wondering if anyone in Australia had heard anything?

Cheers for looking

Louis

I haven't seen much about it. I think the plan was to sell vehicles off in "batches" over a 10 year period.
Here's a (old) news article :
http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/...nkers-and-cranes/story-e6freooo-1226113377960

lol "... some slightly war soiled but otherwise in good order. "
and just in case you've fibbed about your location, you should note that : "... hostile countries such as North Korea will be banned from buying them." :nono:

There was obviously a batch sole last year:

When the tenders come up, they will probably appear on the DEFENCE DISPOSALS AGENCY web page :
http://www.defence.gov.au/dda/

and / or the Aus government tender page :
