In Chris Scott's book 'Sahara Overland' he refers to an Australian version of the Kelly Kettle (photo on page 137 if you have the book) that he preferred due to the fact that it was a simpler, one-piece design with a jug-like handle on the side.
Anyone know if/where they're available.

There is a NZ version called the Thermette....that might be the one.

It is copper with a side handle and a half gallon capacity.

I am picking up one of these at the end of the month. It should be a nice compliment to my smaller Kellys.
