ash bowl in the making.

been carving a lot of ash since we happened across a free blown down tree,this wood is green still and so is easy to carve ,still a lot to do on this one but its taking shape nicely.

the is very nice mate, i would like to have a go at calving spoons and bowls, is ash a good wood to use , also what would is good is i want to be able to use my spoon and bowl?

no lathe used here,i used a bowl carving chisel to rough out the inside and will finish the inside with a spoon knife.mb ash is good ,durable too.
