Don't roll dude, just stuff it in. Room in the bag, even the new ones for it and either your bungees or ridgeline and tieouts.

The thing sold to you as a poncho bag is actually the issue stuff sack designed for the tarp that you have obtained. The old ponchos never had bags....
Rolling it tight shouldn't be too problematic, but i'd try to avoid folding along exactly the same lines every time. Or as mentioned- just stuff it in.

Your better off just stuffing it in the sack..its a lot easier thst way and dosent wear any fold marks into it
