I will be in Blackpool for a week next Monday with the family ,I,ve not been since i was a teenager.Are there any places worth a visit ,i know Tamarck outdoors is not too far away which i dont know if i will get to as i wont have the car as its a wee bus trip we are going on ,I was looking for something more in the town itself?

The tower is good but it ends there.

Spent quite a bit of time in Blackpool the last few years, but can't think of anywhere off the top of my head. However just up the coast a way in Fleetwood ( about 8/9 miles ) there's Freeport shopping village which has a Craghoppers retail/ discount outlet, I've had a few bargains out of there in the past.
