Are there any plastics that you would not use for liners.Sorry to ask on your thread jonnie drake, it just popped into my head.

Most liners are made of vulcanised fibre. The epoxy will melt some plastics. The newer cyano-acrylate glues (superglue basically) won't dissolve plastic and there are now some brightly coloured polystyrene type liners available.
 
I think they set it off nicely.

My nessmuk has a brass boster and three plastic spacers, white, red, white.
