Was very kindly given a rough blank by Hugo & with some guidance from him & others at the recent meet, made this spoon. It was tough going as the wood was really hard but it's undeniably a spoon, albeit a "rustic" one

That turned out brilliantly, still working on mine, well i will be later in the week;)

Perhaps at the next meet we could do a spoon carving work shop if people are interested in doing one?

Thanks everyone. Had a lot of guidance and the shadow conveniently hides a gouge in the bowl that was too difficult to sand out!

Lost in the woods
All the spoons I have made have been from dried wood, me thinks I'll do it with green from now on.
As you say dancan it is hard work.
