I was talking to Addo at the weekend about dutch oven cooking and he mentioned the ally versions available now. Is there more skill involved in not cremating everything ? I can imagine it's a bit harder to regukate the heat with ally compared to the cast iron versions.

What are the available options too, is it just Gsi who make them ?

Shewie : Pakeezah on the bottom of Leeds Rd have some good Al pans, the lids of which have ridge that would stop coals rolling off. All for about £10

Cheers Ed, I'll try and check them out when I'm passing

I'm presuming the proper ally dutch ovens are fairly thick cast though ?
