Anyone tried 'Ultra-Ever Dry' ?

One of my kids found this hydrophobic spray stuff on YouTube and though it's a little expensive I'm sorely tempted. So has anybody out there tried this 'Ultra-Ever Dry' on clothing or boots themselves?

It looks good enough, but those tests can be misleading... for example, how long does the coating last? Great if its durable and long lasting, not so great if you need to re apply it everytime you go out. Will it stand up to a wash if on clothing?
