Not tried those particular ones, but goat leather will be really soft & subtle, ideal for picking up a pot from the camp fire, as they will provide some protection from heat, whilst still allowing you to feel what you are doing as opposed to rigger gloves. I have used similar gloves from 'Town & Country' for a few years.
Let us know what they are like if you decide to take the plunge and buy some.

Are they all leather? I have been trying to find all leather rigger gloves, not the drivers gloves but all leather riggers. My boys use riggers for welding all the time rather than welding gauntlets and burn the safety cuff off them pretty quickly!
