Anyone got a Mora No2?

Hi guys,

I've been asked to make a copy of a mora no2 by a chap in the US.

If someone has one could you please give me exact dimensions for it please?

I need...

total length
blade length
blade width
handle width
distance from the tip where the drop down starts

and if possible... the angle of the bevel.

How do you know if its a No2 mate. I think I have one but not sure.

I got some of the required info

knife lengthg 212mm
blade length 104mm
thickness 2.4mm
blade width 20mm
i'll keep looking as idont actually ownthis knife hope it helps bud
Blade grind
scandi single bevel
i've found 10deg each side but you might want to double check bud ,cant help with the droppoint measurement sorry.

The chap says his blade is 106mm...... forgot about that... thats the only dimension i have from him. and he's in the US so will probably be in bed atm so cant ask him and i want to start on it today

I've seen the number advertised with a 75mm blade too. But the majority(big majority) say 4 or 4 1/4"

my specs i found bud are saying 104mm blade length there a three different types of this model

Just measured the blade on mine and its 100mm. If you want I can drop it in for you sometime today.
I'm waiting for a couple of blades delivering and need some handle scales for them so would like to buy some from you.

I have one, but it has already few years. It has the old Mora stamp, so measures might have slightly changed.

- total lenght: 212 mm

- handle lenght: 107 mm

- handle width: 18 mm at the blade/ferrule junction, 21 mm at ferrule/handle junction, 27 mm in the middle of the handle, 22 mm at the pomell

- handle thickness: 12 mm at the ferrule, 15 mm at the junction with handle, 22 mm in the middle, 15 mm at the pomell

- blade lenght: 104 mm

- blade width: 20 mm at the ferrule, 18 mm where the drop and the belly start

- blade thickness: 2 mm all the way

- distance of the drop, from blade shoulder: 63 mm

-actual drop measure: 41 mm

- grind: 6 mm high, flat, no microbevel from the factory

- edge angle: 16,6° from factory

The confusion over length is probably because there is also a no. 2/0:http://www.frosts.se/construction/classic-20

Wouldn't mind seeing a picture of that when it is done.
