Anyone from Chepstow / Newport

Hi everyone, I'm a bit of a bushcraft noob but have been very interested in learning for quite a while now. I live around 5 mins away from Chepstow and around 15-20 mins from Newport and was just wondering if there were many people in my sort of age group that was interested in this kind of stuff. (I'm 18). Was also wondering where you go to practice your skills, because I'm a little worried about going out and getting in trouble for things like fire starting and knife carrying.
