any Twitchers ?

Had fun playing photograph the Duck on Stocks reservoir today http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=67382

it kept diving under, then surfacing yards away. It was hardly on top long enough to focus the camera before it bobed under again so go on what is it ?

Thanks Shewie and nodd, said I wasn't a twitcher, never heard of them before ,sounds like a James Bond character ! are they rare or common ?

Yep, male Goldeneye in winter plumage. The bright eye and white cheek patch are a dead giveaway.
