Any Mackeral on the mid/north Wales coast ?

Hi, Hoping to take the kids fishing soon.Just wondering if anyones been catching Mackeral on the North Wales coast yet ?

We struggled for them at the weekend, but the sea was a bit lumpy.
They were getting them at Anglesea apparently though.

What mackerel do you get? The Spanish and Kings are both hitting here now.

Very few and far between here on the east coast of NI, need the temp to rise a bit I think.

Temp is set to rise well this weekend so hope they will hit

We returned home from Anglesey (Benllech) last Sunday and had no more than half a dozen between us during our two week stay. Lots of whiting and dogfish caught about 200 yards out from Point Lynas lighthouse, but very little else. My guess is that its going to be at least another month before the Mackerel show up in any large numbers.
