After emailing grizedale and them confirming they do hammock camping and ringing up tonight to make a booking only to be told they don't allow it, I'm in need of a site in the north.
Did brockwell last month so not really interested in going there again just yet, and I'm already off to the Otley meet so I'm looking for a site that's maybe in Yorkshire, the lakes, Cumbria etc that allows hammocks and ideally campfires :0)

Did a search and not too much came up.

Any help much appreciated.

Fell foot woods on windermere might allow it, it is not a camp site per say but they do have yurts and tee pee's dotted around. Barry (the owner) is a laid back bloke too so you might be able to work something out or get a recommendation off of him.

Coniston hall campsite used to have trees adjoining it and on the coastline. Whether or not they are viable or permitted to be used i do not know, it has been a while since i was there. They used to be very laid back with us though so you never know.
