Any experience with shipping forwarders from US to UK/Europe?

Ask to have it shipped as goods sent for repairs. Then I'm pretty sure it can not be subjected to customs or value added tax (because the receiver isn't the owner of the goods). Smooth.

I used Reship to get a jacket sent over with no problems.
