Any Bushcrafters Abergavenny /Brymawr/ Pontypool area ?

"Oldun" I can equate to, but I'm a few miles further up the A470 for it to be a quick day trip!

I very often head up to the Elan valley area and then down to the coast in a day rideout on my motorbike , been thinking about spending longer in the mining valley and learning more about it , I have stopped and photographed the restoration work they are doing on the buildings there .

I'm in Aber mate, and would like to meet up with bushcrafters! I am a complete novice though, although, way back, my old man was a gamekeeper and I shot extensively then, although excepting the RN, haven't shot for 20years.
Is 40 old enough?

Its a youngster compared to my 60 years of age I don't mind ,not as nimble as a
forty year old , what you into in bushy ways ?

I do get around most of Wales through the year as I have a camper van and use it even in winter touring , was up in the "Shooting show" last Feb. 2013 for four days - snowed most of the weekend and cold too

Hi, I spend my time between Croesyceiliog and Abergavenny, anybody local fancy meeting up, or spending a night or two out let me know? I'm new to buscrafting, but have been into walking and camping for years. Do a little bit of shooting and archery as well.

Hey I'm new to this, after some pals to meet up with, just recently got myself some real decent bush gear but sick of hiking, walking, bushcrafting on my own. I'm based in Newport but I'm a student in cardiff to back n forth a lot. I've got permission to do bushcraft in a forest near Newport with a couple of mates but no mates to go with lol.. Into archery and shooting also, just need to branch out and not be all 'lone wolf' when I do these things lol. Any pms or invites greatly appreciated, Jack, 21, newport
