A friend has some under-used woodland in the Church Stretton area of Shropshire.
I visited at the weekend and recon it has potential for use by a small bushcraft school.
It is about 6 acres of mixed woodland, in a rural area, surrounded by fields. A pond adjacent and nearby brook. The land has plenty of suitably spaced trees for hammocks and some flat clear-ish (with a little tidying) areas to bivi.
Plenty of dead standing and fire should be no problem.
The owners run holiday lets, so may have options for courses for people who may prefer a bed in the evening, rather than camping out.
They would prefer to deal with a school/instructor, rather than individuals.
I have no financial interest in this. I've just seeded the idea in the owners mind, and would like to see the land used. So have offered to ask around to see is anyone is interested.
