Eyup, I was going to put this in the traditional crafts section, as its not bushy .....its here.

What do you reckon to this beast? Pre ww1 ? Or ww2 ?

It certainly looks 1930's or 40's. Perhaps a theatrical or film props company would be interested in it.

I paid a fair whack for it as its for swmbo unless I could get some serious profit from it, with a view to one day picking another up at a reasonable price.

My wife has her grandads nearly identical to one. No idea of their value to be honest but she wouldn't sell hers...

The modern ones from Sadleback are pricey, I can imagine the originals are too.
