Had not seen this series yet, fairly new but seems to not be on a main channel. Still wonderful to see Ray back on TV and his real passion for connecting with the past through our countryside and ancient crafts.

Ray has very probably done more for the public understanding of wild Britain than pretty much anyone else other than David Attenborough, and has contributed a fair bit to historical education too.

The predominance of brown and green clothing in his wardrobe is the obvious choice for someone who spends a lot of time outdoors; and it really sets off his eyes well too...
