Alternative fuels for Trangia

Hi,
I'm backpacking round Europe with a few friends in the summer. We're taking a couple of Trangia stoves to cook on, but I'm concerned that we may not find meths as ready available as it is in the UK all the time. If we find ourselves in a pickle, does anyone know what else we might be able to use with one of these alcohol burners, if we can't get hold of meths?

any alcohol above 58 proof. should do, i know 54% arum works if you warm it slightly
