Another question
I have a mostly completed buck skin. Its been smoked etc but there are some parts that arent as soft as i want.
I know how to go about resolving this but havent got a piece of cable suitable for softening the buckskin once ive done what i know needs doing.
I really dont want to hand soften it as its a large hide.
What do folk use instead of cable?

I think the cable is something like 6 or even 10 mm, maybe more
Another option is a 2 -3 inch post driven into the ground with a flat screw driver type end that you rag the hide over.
