OK, I confess, this is more of a test of photobuckets new streaming video hosting (thanks for the heads up rapidboy) than a firesteel tip, but I thought I might as well make it worthwhile.

Take one sebenza, a bit of envelope and a Swedish firesteel and make a fire...

No shredding or "fluffing up", just light that piece of paper straight from the firesteel? Yes it can be done...

Enjoy.

Yeah, dry leaves, whatever - I just used paper cos it was to hand and it proves a point nicely. The envelope was of the kind you would get an electricity or gas bill in. Quite thick - 80gm possibly.

Point is, you dont have to shread anything.

the video, it keeps telling me I require Flash 8.

which I download from the link it provides, which makes no difference what so ever and I still get the message about needing flash 8

That means I have to choose between a bottle of wine or go outside and practice another method of using a fire steel. :You_Rock_

Prolly needs flash8 then. :lmao:

Sorry.

Can you run other flash files? Photobucket converts the uploads to flash files for some reason. The original was a quicktime mov file ~13Mb, but PB has turned it into a flash file and uses it's internal player. Basically, that means the problem is with your computer. ;)

Ah ha... now I can see the video! it was somthing to do with my security programs, turn them off and hey presto, it works

(have split off the trap videos I put in this post and put them in the fair game section as they were very off topic)
