I think each series builds the expectations of the competitors for the next series. Those that lasted the longest went in to it with a home making mentality rather than a survive the longest mentality, as proven by the guy who expounded the virtues of not doing anything and then got bored and tapped out. I was disappointed with "Mr PMA", and the young lad grated on me to be honest, but all the other contestants I did like in the end. Its a shame that in the end, it all boiled down to in the end, was whose bodies could endure starvation the most. Its great to see the homes they make for themselves as it's a step up from the S1 and 2 set ups. One thing that annoyed me about the show, the covering clothing logos; I bet more discussions occurred about that than the participants safety, but that's me being cynical.
Oh, and i bought the shovel!
