After seeing the Heads up about Aldi doing their folding saws, i hopped over this morning and bought two.
A fine toothed and and medium toothed. They had no large (if at all  )
I've not used them yet but compared to my cheap B&Q folding saw, they feel more robust.
A good sized blade and rubberised handle, good locking mechanism which i found, when half folded, locks the blade aswell, possibly to stop you trapping your fingers.
Here's the piks

Comparison

B&Q

Aldi Fine

Medium

Side by side

Handles are different colours between the two aswell which i guess is handy to know - or not.
Blades feel quite good and overall they feel good in the hand. Much thicker handles than my B&Q saw.

Not bad for £2:49 each and a welcome addition to my collection.

Update.

Just cut through a 2 inch thick piece of fire hardened ash, possibly not hte hardest of woods but both saws performed admirably and went through it with ease.

Definitely worth the pennies if you're ona budget goodjob

Mine is yellow Duncan :lmao: the orange one i *lifted*

Added a pik of all 3.
The fine toothed one is quite effective and on antler as i've just found out goodjob

No idea how they compare to the Wilko ones ickyan.
