I imagine the first person to ask would be the Customs and Excise officer who granted your distilation licence. You do have a licence I assume?

Can't you just use an old immersion tank? There are fellas out in the hills distilling the finest Poitín money can't buy with less sanitary measures! Not that I'm advocating such outlawed behaviour without a license!
Not that Poitín of that strength is legal anyways.:lmao:
 
In Sweden I've heard about people leaving cider out in a small tub overnight. Scrap of the ice, refreeze the remains scrape of ice again. Repeat as necessary. Colder the temperature the stronger the liquor possible.
Might work in the recent spell of weather. And not a still in sight.

Meh, I have no great shakes for the revenuers. Get this stuff wrong though and you concentrate tops and tails and you can poison yourself
