I've decided to let my Alan Wood/Woodlore knife go so I thought I'd ask here if anyone was interested before the dreaded evilbay.

It is used (bought late 2001/early 2002 I think)but has only seen fairly light use, as the kids arrived in 2003 and 4 so there went my trips out!). There are a few marks on the back of the blade by the handle (When they say never lend a knife, pay heed, I haven't spoken to the numpty since) but they are cosmetic.

Comes with belt sheath which has a few light surface marks.

If anyone wants pics, please pm me and I'll email them. (or please tell me how to put them on here!!)

I know these can fetch quite a bit so I thought I'd ask for sensible offers  , hope that's ok; I'd rather someone who was going to use had it as it seems a bit frivolous to have it lying idle.

Any questions, please pm me.

It was a fair cop I suppose but I really didnt want to see the price. Personally, I'd love one. I'd love to try one out so I could at least say "yep they're great and worth every penny" or "they're fine but no better than a ..... for a quarter of the price".

But as it is unless I come across one cheap at a car boot or in a charity shop I guess I'll never know.

Good luck with the sale anyway Dunc.

Just added some links to photos of the knife - can't seem to get the photo on the post, hope the links are ok.

Now asking £350.

p.s This is a reluctant sale, I'm not just trying to profitmonger. Unfortunately I need the dough!!

there you go all better now

Ah, the marvels of technology! I've tried various ways but with no success.

Just thought I'd better add that the knife is being advertised elsewhere also, just in case it disappears from here.

No need to apologise here - it's worth whatever someone will pay for it. Glad you managed to sell it.
