I have some old oak fence post circa 1956.
IT was placed up against my bungalow under the eves, so was the best piece of oak available from the fence.
I removed it and put it in my garage about 16 years ago so it is well seasoned.
I have shaped a piece into part of a handle for a knife, it feels nice in the hand but has some fine cracks in it due to it's age.
What is the best way of filling these fine cracks.
Have a look at the pictures and see.
