Used it when I started smoking my fish.
Never bought more bags, I started using my BBQ with home made woodchips and tree needles.

Can you get the wood dust to smolder evenly? I never can.
I've settled on apple wood chunks for smoke.
Seems about the easiest here to get in abundance.
