Met up with Big Stu 12, Dark Horse Dave and 9InchNinja at the Stansfield Compasses Compasses.jpg for some lunch, before heading up to our first nights location. After finding some suitable pitches, we set ourselves up for the night. We all cooked our evening meals over our own individual fires, using only materials from the woods and lit by flint and steel. Unfortunately I had left my camera in the car, so no pics of this evening.
Next morning after breakfast, packing, and cleaning our pitches, we headed off to our second nights camp. On the way I detoured off to my car to pick up my camera.

Once one Colin, thanks for sharing and your company.

It was a great weekend, was good to See Dave again, and meet Ben, it was good to meet up with Guys that have the love for the Backwoods way of wild camping, with Old Style Minimum Kit,

Once again, I come away with new Knowledge and Ideas, and the need to return to the woods :)
