Its been a busy year with one thing and another for the Twodogs so a short holiday was in order 
As Mrs Twodogs collects all things elk related and after seeing the thread Marrti put up last year about the Helsinki Christmas markets it looked ideal even better flying out of Birmingham via Copenhagen
Many thanks to Martti for some useful visiter information and of course for the fabric that I collected from the airport ,,good to meet you mate .
Here we go cold and dry ideal for me
Time to hit St Thomas market
Mrs Twodogs hunting elks
Me hunting a pukko
The outdoor markets were fantastic loads of crafts , knifes , baskets , kuksa , gloves ..allsorts
I picked up a couple of nice knifes
Also had a look at the Marrtini knife outlet
Note the chip hunting bird ,,,
Fine looking chap in orange with a ship
The Finns understand the need for public toilets
Plus they like there coffee ...lots of it
On the second day we hit the shops again ,,,
Look at this one
And of course man in grey striking heroic pose with ship ...
Time to hit the normal shops ...Elks it is the elk hunting season for Mrs Twodogs after all .
found an energy bar for me
Plus tons of licorice ..
Got to watch the locals at play .
It was a fantastic long weekend Helsinki is well worth a visit

Plus .........Rocky still loves me when we got home ...
