A Vulgar sheepskin rug.

Next door sadly has gone into care (He is 98) and his children are sorting out the house.

I am now the grateful recipient of a box of leatherworking tools, and a huge sheepskin rug.

Its four sheepies sewn together, and a rather dire turquoise.

Im delighted with it as it is but am wondering if it could be dyed?

It'll dye fine......you might check for any labels though, because turquoise isn't a normal colour for even dyed sheepskins.

I doubt you'll get it lighter, but it might go green, or brown or black-ish, with care.

Drying it's going to be a bother though. I'd wait until the weather is much improved, if it were me tackling it.
