It surely would! I've killed my dremelalike making guide holes to chisel out between as the spindle whorl is a single circular piece ( upcycled so rock hard, too) so the grain is pretty uncooperative for most of the insets, having a visual idea of the technique would be marvellous for next timei will put a couple of pics together for you if it will help
It looks so good set into a staff too, a really personalised element to add in. Thank you!
