A quick walk in the woods.....

Just a quick walk out this afternoon with the muts to a big beech wood, there was a lot of large trees down, probably about 7 or 8 that i saw in a 45 minute bimble. This one has a large fungi on it.

someone's been industrious, well made using the roots of a downed beech as one side and about 6 inches of leaf litter on the floor.

local inhabitance, bit big for a bunny i reckon so must be Mr Fox.

and then it hailed ! these were big hail stones and really stung when they hit you, only lasted a couple of minutes but was pretty heavy.
