Just a short trip for an overnight on Saturday night. A little spot I know in the vicinity of Abergavenny.
Got the bushbuddy stove out, had salami with cous cous and peas, with cheesecake to follow. Got into the sleeping bag as soon as it went dark.
Slept really well, and this is what I woke up to:
The view straight up (I hadn't bothered with a tarp, knowing the forecast to be good) - sun on the tree tops
Sunlight into the trees
I'd wrapped my cloak around a tree to keep various bits of kit dry if needed, and discourage any nibbling critters.
Leave no trace.
