Well, as lovely as my "Red Hunter" is, as with all my stuff, it needed a proper mask. So, over to "the usual suspect".

The usual "double snap" closure I favour, snap fastner belt loops so I don't lose my belt (or trousers:eek: ) putting it on. Intergral D rings for clipping to a pack and baldric carry. An of course made to hang on the left with the helve forewards to ease removal from the mask

Cheers Singteck - looking forward to seeing it (and you) tomorrow

It looks even better in the flesh! I now have a new favourite rig!

I do believe I would take this set up over my custom Lee Reeves with Singteck suit. Its light enough for belt carry - and the leather on this is pleasantly understated - neat, clean and functional like the axe itself.

I know I "bang on" about his skills, but really - the man makes the best axe mask I have ever seen! I now have five "single bits" from 10" to 26" helve lengths - even including a Roselli which has to be the hardest axe around to mask - he never misses a beat!

You are a gent Singteck!

I have to say mate - your leather and Ceggas axe work is a great partnership.

I also really, really want some pictures of that bamboo shelter you were telling me about when you are back home!
