Delighted to find that we have both song and mistle thrushes nesting at the new place :). Also intrigued to find that the correct collective noun is "a mutation":cool:

Common place when I was a lad, aint seen one for years by me. Magpies on the otherhand their numbers have exploded round here.

A couple have been feeding on worms on the grass outside my office window for the last few weeks.

I have to say its lovely to see so many mistle thrushes (taller and a whiter breast). We have song thrushes in Hampshire but nowhere near the numbers of mistles as we get in Lincs - altogether a bigger bird but they do seem more shy somehow
