A little leatherwork.

Had a couple of hours to myself this afternoon, so I thought I would do something with two old leather belts I had. Sheath danglers or axe loops, and two wrist bands.(Thanks Hamish) The brass rings came from an old handbag my daughter was throwing away, Very strong split rings.

Just found another old belt, I want to try and make a leather axe loop for my Japanese hand axe. Pics later.

Oh I wish I were that good. As I said, they were made out of two old leather belts, already stamped But I like the idea of making something new out of unwanted materials.

Just made a pair of axe loops. Not very pretty, but serviceable. Again I've used old leather belts. The designs are evolving as I go. Thanks for looking.
