A Condor Parang with an excellent quality leather sheath. 1070 carbon steel with a convex edge this a serious chunk of old-school metal and wood, that just doesn't get the use it should, a few scuffs but no chips, say £42. Sold to British Red

Finally, this little number was popular a few years ago on Britishblades, given the affectionate nickname of "Lemmy" the Boker Magnum Camp Bowie is modelled on a Becker BK-2, similar length and scales, with a clip point stainless 440 blade that could take abuse and keep going, and an ambidextrous sheath. Not razor sharp and the scales need a little adjustment for the perfect fit, this knife would suit someone who has an interest in modding knifes and wants something a little different for not much money. Currently out of stock at Heinnies's, how about £19. Withdrawn from sale, thanks for looking
