a knife for a mate!

just finished his knife,its as a trade on some archery stuff from the US.

blade :cut from a circular saw blade.
hilt :brass secured with 1mm brass pins.
handle :buffalo horn secured with 3mm brass pins
rear pin is home made mosaic brass pin.

In Sheffield there is an old tradition/superstition of when you give a blade as a gift,
the recipiant should give a token amount of money in return.
This is to avoid 'cutting' the friendship.
