Bit of late post on this thread, but, i bought myself one of these as a user, got it from JLS wednesbury

I find the knife a delight to use, not too heavy, sits very comfortably in my hand, and keeps a good edge, admitedly i had to do a bit of work on the grind with water stones when i first received it, but apart from that nowt, the ricasso on mine is 5mm, whereas on the Woodlore Micarta it's 9mm and the Shing i own it's 12mm.

Surely a knife is a personal thing, and what suits one won't suit another, as long as it does the job it's intended for..............................
EDIT: Forgot to add it throws a magnificent shower of sparks from the ol' spark stick as well, no filing etc required to the spine whatsoever.
