I went to the dogs this morning with the missus and the little-un , I thought some of you folks would be interested in these Photos

You really don't want to eat the yellow snow here

I would have liked to stay longer but the little-un needed to get home as she was cold and needed her nap but was a lot of fun to watch.
Maybe next winter when I have some spare dosh then I would like to have a go myself

Great pics & that's more like it snow wise..
Judging by the motor caravans & dog trailers, there's quite a bit of money there. Like in some dog shows & canine sport competions, you can easily tell the 'professionals' from the amateurs by the vehicules they return to after their presentation






There is the ' Grande Odyssée ' ( a long haul sled dog race) taking place at the moment in the French alps.(7th -18th jan.)........for those interested & francophone. .http://www.grandeodyssee.com/

Yep we finally had a good dump of snow hopefully it will stay now.
This was quite a big event the photos don't really show the scale of it but I recon your probably right there is quite a bit of money there There was over 100 dog sled team competing .

Had a go here in Scotland on a rig with wheels its great fun but our Malamute perhaps does not agree.
