A couple of recycled bits a made today

I spent a few hours having a play on my day off today. Heres what i got upto...

(sorry the picture quality is pretty rubbish!!)

Here's a backy pouch that I made from a suede jacket and a 1950's trilby hat band with a deer antler button stopper. (I was trying to go for the western vibe )

And here's a whittling carver knife I made with a buffalo tip handle. (the sheath is made from the same suede as the backy pouch in a traditional wrap form. Tied with jute cord.) I used a small Mora carver knife and removed the handle for the blade. (its very comfortable to use in all positions. especially reverse grip )

Any comments/questions welcome, good or bad..

Cheers guys! The missis isn't too happy with me as she said my pictures are shocking. (Shes a photographer) So she has insisted to take some more of the carver in action and a few other projects!

Im hoping to make a matching spoon knife soon when i can get hold of a decent blade! Iv already got the other buffalo tip waiting to make a pair, so im really looking forward to that.. cant remember the last time i made some spoons??.
