sold as a Pennsylvaninan milk jug.

Tengu, you amaze me with the things you find in sales! It could also be a water carrier. Does it have a spout? It would need one for pouring wouldn't it? Also wondering what the bits on the sides are for. Attaching a handle perhaps as it would be difficult to carry with the handle in the picture if it was full.

No, its my friends find not mine...

It has no spout, but its an oval shape so wouldnt really need one.

I thing the lugs on the side are for a strap

the enamel is damaged in places...is it repairable?
