Im going to cave in and get an old defender, my mate does them up and has been trying to get me to have one for 15 years. Im getting used to being able to drive where and when I want safely with the landy at work. Its rather pants getting into the car at the weekend.

Be sure to spend a bit on anti-theft for it, there are a lot of them going walk-about at the mo, and it's heartbreaking when it happens.

Anybody in Wales should look at www.4x4responsewales.org it's a separate charity with 160 members throughout Wales and affiliated to the National Network. From now to the end of Feb is our busiest time and all volunteers (4x4 owners or otherwise) are welcome.
