Looks marvellous mate for a first attempt. Is it heat treated to RC hardness?

If you sharpen him it might make it more saleable. What is the steel as it looks like a hand forged finish?

Great first job and if I didn't have too many sharps I would have :D

It has been hardened but cant off hand remeber the approx RC.

The pattern that is on the blade is a result of the heat treating, I didnt polish it off as I thought it gave it a bit of character. May give it some more work and sharpen it if no-one takes it at this price and then re-list it
