...Deerstalkers, that is!
All four are the same steel, 01 3mm'ish. 210mm overall, blade 100mm, handle110mm. They all have copper pins and tubes and all have the same buffalo sheath. The handles are all brown phenolic material, which is impervious to the blood, snot, slime and grot associated with gralloching on the hill, hence the 'stalkers' reference!
These were all a bit of an experiment to see how the phenolic stuff behaved.
The second from the left has a more 'contoured' handle to the others, which are flatter by comparison.
They all have red fibre liners and the handles have all been left with a 'satin' finish to aid grip, as I'd think this phenolic stuff would be pretty slippery when wet if it were to be finished to a high polish.
